The STAR notebook comes home daily with your child. It is expected to be looked at every night. In the notebook you will find homework/papers to be returned/communication from me, etc.
You will find information in the STAR notebook that explains what it is for. PACT journals will only be placed in the STAR notebooks on Fridays. I have found that the PACT journals are not fitting very well into the notebooks, so they will just be placed in the back of the notebooks.
If you have any feedback about the STAR notebooks, I woul love to hear them. This is my second year doing the notebook, so I know there are some things that still need to be changed.
I haven’t had a chance to write in Andrew’s notebook, but would love to say that he is a loving, caring, intelligent and honest child usually. He has his moments like we all do, but that’s natural. I trust that school in going well with him and you, Ms. McKan. Please let me know of anything I can do to help make it better!
